art

Art is not something I appreciate.

And now, after years of taking art in school,

I once again am taking an Art course, in university.

Seriously, I HAVE to take a fine art? Why in the world.

Art is not for me.

But to learn to appreciate art and to think of it as a way 

of worship and expression.

I want to find the relevancy of art in my life.
I want to appreciate it, to see God's hand and gift of creativity.

To be creative. Using gifts

walking in a winter wonderland

I went for a WALK today.

It was super COLD outside, especially

with the WIND that chilled my cheeks.

The sound of SNOW crunching under my feet,

and the MITTENS that seem eager to warm my hands.

The great FRIENDS I walked with,
and the GOOD conversations during that walk.

While walking your legs go NUMB

and your eyes TEAR from the wind,

the SUN shines so brightly and

makes everything SPARKLE.

Then to end up at STARBUCKS and drink

a yummy HOT beverage which I enjoyed

while READING the most beautiful and 

inspiring BOOKS in Chapters, as we sat

on the ground and just READ!

How LOVELY a cold winter day can  be 

I ENJOYED every minute of it :)

for some reason this is not centred. These are pictures from the
6 years or so... 

I love my siblings! They're the best.

I can't be thankful enough for each one of them. They, every single

one, have had a huge impact in my  life and I am so blessed.

We've been far away from one another in the last years, one brother 

and his family in the Netherlands, and I now live in Ontario. There's

an 8 hour time difference, 9 hours or so of flying to get to all of them.

But the phone, the mail, the email, social networking sites, and now Skype

help us stay connected, plus the memories we share and have keep

us going. We may be out of sight but definitely not out of heart or mind.

Not a day without thinking about my bros and siss! :)
