Roy Lessin...

You know and in those times that you're a bit confused, it can be that God uses the means of media to encourage you... HUH?! Yes Im not kidding, the other day when I was a bit confused about this whole move and all, one of my friends had this:

Let God choose for you, it will be the right decision.
Let God guide you, it will be the right direction.
Let God plan for you, it will be in the right timing.
Let God help you, it will be the right care.
Let God instruct you, it will be the right teaching.
Let God prepare you, it will be the right training.
Let God counsel you, it will be the right perspective.
Let God fight for you, it will be the right outcome.
Let God work in you, it will be the right result.
~Roy Lessin~

as her status on Facebook. (See the media can be good!) And I was encouraged. Reminded that God will be with us, and for us; beside us and right along with us.. Wherever we go, wherever we are, and however confused we may be... GOD IS IN CONTROL! :D

it's scary

It's scary really, to be moving away in just one day and 2 nights. I'm not sure what to think of it anymore... Again doubts pop into my head, and this may be natural. Packing is the most difficult thing to do I think. But now the packing is done, and we're leaving Lacombe early in the morning on Monday... :S

the mailman came...

...and passed me a letter, telling me to post more, since it can have some benefits.

Now, really that isn't true. The mailman didn't come with such a delivery. I, however,
was looking at the stats of my blog and saw that after more than a year I only have 52
posts. That would be less than 1 post a week. I know that this is true, not because
I counted each time I blogged and figured out if it was a week ago or more, but because
there have been months that I only posted one time or even none at all...

With my new GRAND ADVENTURE just around the corner, I hope to keep some of
you a bit more up to date with updates (haha) on this blog. Not because I don't want to
email each or you, but because I kinda think that maybe it will be a little busy with papers
and homework and just trying to keep up with university life, that I won't always be
able to update you all individually. I'd love to still hear from you all though, and will do
my best to reply to emails and such. Just bear with me, I will be doing my very best!

I found this little magazine article years ago and thought I'd post it for ya, since it says
that blogging can have benefits... :D

UNEXPECTED BONUS OF Blogging
Trying to quit smoking, lose weight or finisha marathon? Start blogging! The internet is a great place to declare a health goal, saysSusan Biali, a Vancouver-based doctor, authorand psycologytoday.com blogger. "It createsinstant accountabilty, and a personal supportgroup," she says. Allison Dunn, who chronicledher journey from 5K to 42K onhowiranamarathon.blogspot.com, concurs. "If I hadn't publicly said, 'I'm running a marathon,'I might not have done it," she says. The same istrue....."
And on it goes... I'm not going to quote the whole article, since I think I'm already doing something illegal without citing it, since I don't remember where I got the article from. Anyways, so I'm going to tell you what my goal is for this year (and yes, my years start in September and go till summer holidays, than the next year starts the follow September.... :D o boy). I want to do awesome during my first year of second time round post-secondary education, and grow in many ways....! (Perhaps more in later days on the many ways?!?)

bear - I admit, I had to look this one up, which bear to use.. you know there's two spellings to the same sounding word (a.k.a. homophones - yeah I learned something last year when I worked with grade 2ers!)

summer...

...is coming to a close.

At least the part of the summer that is spent at home. I am working a job now, but that will be done soon. Two weeks from today I will be travelling East, and starting a new chapter in my life.
I cannot believe how fast the time is going and how much I still have to get done in the next weeks before moving to Ontario. There is a huge list of stuff I seem to have to get together, and a lot of things I have to accomplish in my own home here in Alberta before I can take off. I take one day at a time, and just keep going, while enjoying the last days here with my family and friends.

Soon I will be student, once again. And I can't tell you how excited I am to take this step! :)
